My life journey and professional experiences have profoundly shaped my counselling and supervision practice and empathy for fellow travellers.

Where it all started…

At the age of sixteen, my first clear vocational aspiration was to help others understand, heal from, and surmount their struggles. However, at that time, my career path took a different direction with a finance and economics degree, which is a story for another time! Twenty plus years followed in the corporate sector (business analysis and IT implementations, solution architecture, and consulting) and the NGO international and community development sector.

During this time, I committed myself to deep personal work and reconnecting with what is intrinsically me. This brought my career path full circle with retraining in psychology and counselling and returning to my original vocational vision. These collective experiences have lent depth and understanding to my counselling and supervision practice. I don’t lose sight of the immense privilege and responsibility as a therapist of coming along side of others and helping them with their journey. I am passionate about empowering, equipping, encouraging and supporting both clients and clinicians well.
