Hi there!

Mina Daniels Counselling & Supervision

Why work with me?

Trust

It is key to find a mental health professional whom you can trust to create a safe therapeutic space for the vulnerable, raw, and sacred things. It’s an honour to help clients feel comfortable and build trust during counselling. Also, I have done my own deep work, am engaged in ongoing personal growth, and am undertaking regular supervision myself.

Experienced, Trained and Qualified

I am trained and experienced in various individual and relationship counselling modalities, therapeutic strategies and clinical and professional supervision. I have over 4500+ hours of experience in facilitating positive outcomes with individuals and couples facing diverse psychological, behavioural, relational, and life challenges. I have also been providing clinical and professional supervision for counsellors, social workers, and allied health professionals since 2021. I am a qualified (Master of Counselling; Graduate Diploma in Psychology; Certification in Individual and Group Supervision - RISEUP Model) and a registered clinical counsellor and supervisor (ACA College of Clinical Counsellors; College of Supervisors; Level 4).

Approach

Person-centred, non-judgemental, evidence-based, and informed by an understanding of trauma and other formative life experiences. Perspectives on neurodivergence and culture are also incorporated into my counselling practice. I am able to support you by equipping you with strategies, tools, and skills and, if needed, assist your processing and healing in the deeper places. I work with compassion, sensitivity, and therapeutic proficiency to guide and empower both counselling and supervision clients.

Therapeutic Models

My integrative-modality approach allows for tailored treatments for clients’ unique issues and needs. These therapeutic models include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focussed Therapy (SFT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Trauma-Informed Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy and Attachments for Couples. Supervision generally follows the RISE UP framework but is adapted to your needs.

What motivates me?

Empowering, equipping, and launching others to live with purpose and intention is a key passion of mine. I love assisting clients to gain insights into their behaviours and feelings, using this understanding to fully embrace life. I am particularly interested in core beliefs — how they are formed, their continued impact, and guiding clients to alter any beliefs that are unhelpful or limiting.

What else do I do?
